Thunderbird 24 compatibility

The OBM Team is proud to present a new major version of the OBM Lightning Connector, version 4.0.1. As you may know, this extension enables using Thunderbird and Lightning together with the OBM messaging and collaboration platform.

Previously, the OBM Connector required a specialized version of Lightning to work correctly. When using Thunderbird 24, this requirement no longer exists. You can now download and upgrade Thunderbird and Lightning directly from Mozilla, all you need to do is upgrade the OBM connector.

If you are using an older version of Thunderbird, please consider upgrading to the latest version. If you nevertheless would like to stick with an older version, you must continue to use the specialized [OBM Lightning releases](http://obm.org/mozilla-addons/lightning/stable/) together with the respective [OBM Connector release](http://obm.org/mozilla-addons/obm-connector/stable/).
