If you are waiting for the new release of OBM 3.0, you will be glad to know that an intermediate version 3.0.0-rc2 is available for testing (please don't use it as a production server and wait for the final release).
Compared to 3.0.0-rc1, OBM 3.0.0-rc2 only fixes very minor issues; if you have a Jira account you can follow the release process by following this [link](http://ci-obm.linagora.com/jira/secure/TaskBoard.jspa?type=TB&selectedPr...)
Here's a short list of what's new with OBM 3:
* Unified user experience (with a new top bar and notifications!)
* Integrated Roundcube webmail
* A REST provisioning API (details [here](/wiki/obm-provisioning-api))
* [Debian Wheezy](/wiki/install-obm-debian-wheezy) support
* Performance tests and webdriver functional tests are now part of the release process
We've upgraded the documentations for [Debian](/wiki/install-obm-3-debian-wheezy) and [CentOS](/content/install-obm-30-centos-6) installations, and you probably want to look at our [upgrading notes](/wiki/upgrading-obm3) if you're upgrading from OBM 2.x. Beware that OBM 3 will not work with Opush 2.x so you must upgrade to [Opush 3](/blog/opush-3-release) too.
We would like to warn that __this isn't a stable release, though we don't expect bad things to happen__. This means that Linagora couldn't be held responsible for any kind of problem you may have if you use this version in production (data loss, burnt servers, etc.).
To install this version, please manually update your aptitude or yum repository configuration files to use:
deb http://deb.obm.org/30/3.0.0-rc2 obm obm
or
http://rpm.obm.org/30/3.0.0-rc2/latest/6
Please feel free to try it (or at least test it on our [demo](http://obm.org/content/try-it) server), we will be very glad to receive your feedback on this version. To file an issue, ask a question or simply say hello, have a look [here](/content/contribute).Nike Schuhe
