Thunderbird

We have just released version 4.0.10 of OBM's Lightning connector which fixes a single issue:

* [OLC-70](https://ci-obm.linagora.com/jira/browse/OLC-70) Fixed Lightning's blue bar that was sometimes showing incorrect "already processed" message.

The OBM Team is proud to present a new major version of the OBM Lightning Connector, version 4.0.1. As you may know, this extension enables using Thunderbird and Lightning together with the OBM messaging and collaboration platform.

Previously, the OBM Connector required a specialized version of Lightning to work correctly. When using Thunderbird 24, this requirement no longer exists. You can now download and upgrade Thunderbird and Lightning directly from Mozilla, all you need to do is upgrade the OBM connector.

The OBM team is proud to announce the release of the [**OBM connector 3.2.0.0**](http://www.obm.org/mozilla-addons/obm-connector/stable/tb17/). A new strength gained for this release is the wide range of compatibility. The connector has been tested with **Thunderbird 3**, **Thunderbird 10 ESR** and **Thunderbird 17 ESR**. This version will allow you to easily upgrade to a newer Thunderbird release, allowing you to take advantage of its improvements.

# Proactive Synchronization

This feature's primary goal is to provide a "near real-time" view of OBM calendars in Lightning.
This is achieved with two major improvements:

* A background synchronization is triggered when an event is created/updated/removed from an OBM calendar in Lightning.
* A background synchronization is triggered when a notification email is received in Thunderbird.
